Three Swans Weddings
We have had many years experience of hosting weddings at the
Three Swans and are absolutely confident that you can relax with the
knowledge that your wedding day arrangements will be handled
professionally and competently by a friendly team; both during the
planning stage and throughout the day itself.
Our reputation for excellent food is long established and we adopt the
attitude that your wedding day is the most important one that we have
ever managed.
You have a choice of rooms to suit most requirements:-
• The delightful intimacy of the Cygnet Room allows seating up to 50
guests in air conditioned comfort.
• The elegant Restaurant seats up to 65 guests with Reception
drinks able to be served in the wood panelled Cocktail Bar or in the
Courtyard if the weather allows it. Air conditioned.
• The more contemporary Cromwell Suite can accommodate up to
170 guests with its own self contained lounge area and bar.

Civil Ceremonies
You may also choose to hold your wedding ceremony at the Three Swans
and all of the above three rooms are registered for conducting civil
weddings and partnerships. Once you have made provisional arrangements
with us, you will need to contact the Superintendent Registrar to confirm that
the date is available. The address is Superintendent Registrar, County Hall,
Leicester Road, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RN. Tel 0116 2656565.
The Three Swans has no involvement with the fee for the Registrar and can
take no responsibility for the organisation of the service and this should be
discussed solely with the Registrars. The Registrar will explain the
conditions of the Marriage Act 1994, but do remember that :-
• Any music should be agreed with the Registrar and supplied on CD.
• The room in which the Civil Ceremony takes place can have no
religious bearing.
• The consumption of food, drink or smoking is not permitted in the
Marriage Room for one hour prior to or during the ceremony.
• No photography is permitted during the ceremony, except by
invitation of the Registrar, and although unobtrusive video recording
is generally possible this should be agreed with the Registrar.
Accommodation
Your guests may be travelling long distances to share your day with you
and we have 61 modern bedrooms available that can save them the
inconvenience of a long drive after the celebrations. These include a suite,
four poster rooms and superior rooms - all with special rates available for
your guests. Many are air conditioned, all are en suite, with direct dial
telephones, modem access and Sky TV. Parking is no problem - with space
for up to 100 cars on our own car park.

The Swans Wedding Package

Our Wedding Package has been put together with great care
and with the objective of giving you maximum flexibility of choice
within a set price.
However, we hope that you will see that the many variations to this
basic package are limitless. The most important thing is that you have
a wedding that suits you and reflects everything that you want on your
special day.
Our Swans Wedding Package includes :
• Four course meal and coffee or:-
• Three course buffet and coffee
• One glass of Pimms or Bucks Fizz as reception drink
• Two glasses of house wine with the meal
• One glass of sparkling wine for the toast
• Personalised printed menus
• Cake stand and commemorative knife to keep as memento of the day
• Four poster bedroom on your wedding night
• Advance menu tasting for two people in the Swans Restaurant
• Banqueting Suite hire for the wedding breakfast
• A member of our management team on hand throughout the day to
guide you through the formalities.
Although we hope that we have provided a package that will give you and
your guests a day that you will always cherish, you may wish to consider
some other options to further enhance your day:-
• An additional fish course
• Canapes to accompany your reception drinks
• Champagne for the reception drinks or for the toast
• A professional toastmaster
• A firework display to round off the evening.

Event Rooms
The Cromwell Suite
 
This is a beautifully decorated, air-conditioned room with its own private bar and lounge area, decorated with wrought iron light fittings and large drape curtains, it is the perfect venue for large receptions.
Daytime minimum guests 65, maximum 170 for table service
Evening minimum guests 100, maximum 220 for evening finger buffet
 
The Swans Restaurant
 
The elegant Swans Restaurant is fully air aonditioned and allows you to step back in time and feel the tradition of the 16th Century. The wood panelled cocktail bar, which is adjacent to the Restaurant is the perfect place for reception drinks, or in the summer you may choose the feature courtyard. We recommend that you are seated by 3pm to allow sufficient time for the service and speeches. The Restaurant must be vacated by 6pm.
Daytime only, minimum guests 50, maximum 70 for table service
 
The Cygnet Room
 
This is an attractive traditional room fully air conditioned with
bow-fronted windows and feature fire-place, perfect for intimate Weddings.
Daytime minimum guests 30, maximum 50 for table service
 
The Pen Room
 
Traditional wood panelling surrounds you in this beautiful, quaint dining room.
Daytime minimum guests 8, maximum 18 for table service
 
Swans Nest Conservatory
 
This is an excellent location for your evening reception. It is fully air conditioned with its own bar and dancing area. Guests can even go outside to the courtyard on a pleasant evening.
Evening only, minimum guests 45, maximum guests 65 buffet style
 
Civil Wedding Ceremonies
 
Some of our rooms are licensed for Civil Ceremonies so why not eliminate the inconvenience of travelling completely.

- These dishes are purely suggestions and if you have a
particular favourite Chef would be delighted to prepare
it for you.

you with details of the ingredients .
- In accordance with recent legislation we must point
out that there is a possibility some foods may contain
genetically modified soya/maize.
- Please advise us if you or your guests have any

Buffet & Vegetarian Menu Selector

Vegetarian Main Courses
Filo strudel filled mushrooms, brie, rocket and
redcurrants served with a sweet tomato sauce.
Savoury tartlet of field and wild mushrooms set in
a garlic wine cream, topped with gruyere cheese

Mediterranean vegetable turnover with an
