Eager Poet (Neath Hill))

The Eager Poet is a recently refurbished, good
locals, community pub located in a shopping area
in Neath Hill.  Built in the late 1970s it has been
here since Milton Keynes was developed.  Since Shannon took over in 2005 the pub has been
turned around and is now a trouble free, female friendly venue where everyone who comes in feels comfortable and not
at all intimidated.  Many of the staff are female and we can recommend
safe local taxi firms to get you home.  The bar is an open plan horseshoe shape and there is a Sports zone and two pool areas.  We show all
major sporting events and matches on the two big screens and other
TVs.  Food is served from a value for money menu and great new pizza
menu and the Sunday roast is a particular favourite.  It is advisable to
book to avoid disappointment. There is a good range of wines to choose
from to accompany your meal or a real ale / draught beer if preferred.
If you are new to the  area or haven't visited us for a while, call in
and meet the regulars and feel the difference.
