The Galleon is a well known pub in Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes, built in the early
eighteenth century to serve the Grand Union Canal traffic. Initially called
“The Wharf House” it has gone through many changes over the years.
Under new management, the Galleon has now been fully refurbished
and newly launched as a family dining pub with private dining facilities.
Located next to the Grand Union Canal and with a large garden it is within
a 15 minute drive from all of Milton Keynes and Junction 14 of the M1.
With plenty of off-road parking and its garden climbing frame,
this is the ideal venue for all members of the family.
At The Galleon we pride ourselves and our reputation on serving good quality, home cooked, traditional pub food. Our emphasis is on fresh ingredients sourced locally where possble.
Check out our Daily Special boards where our chef takes advantage of the best in seasonal ingredients to produce a variety of delicious dishes.
We offer our all day snack menu served from 11.30 a.m until 10.30 p.m.
Our dinner menu is served from 5.30 - 9.30 p.m.

Private Dining Available
There is a choice of two rooms for private dining
the Lounge or the Garden Room both seating up to 20 people and ideal for private parties.
We can offer our full menu or if you are celebrating a family birthday or other special occasion and would like your own dining area, we can offer two options
either the lounge or if you require more privacy our garden room.

Meetings/Conferences
Our Garden Room overlooking the Grand Union Canal is available for meetings
of up to 20 people. It comes equipped with state of the art equipment including
WiFi, plasma screen TV, PC projector and a whiteboard all included in the cost.
Full day and half day delegate rates are available.
You can also combine your meeting with a private lunch or dinner.
The room is particularly suited to business meetings, training days,
local societies & clubs, informal get togethers such as cofee mornings.
Children
Children are very important to us at The Galleon. If they are happy
and enjoying themselves, then your visit will be enjoyable too.
Our canal side garden has a play area for the children. Climbing frame
and bouncy castle from Spring 2010
Look out for our special events throughout the year. However we are
required to point out that at all times children must be supervised in the play
area and we cannot not be held responsible for the safety of children.
