It provides a good meeting place for those preparing to go into town as it is just a ten minute walk away on the outskirts. Located directly behind the cricket club, we have a good number of cricketers here, along with a very mixed clientele of all ages.
The pub is popular at lunchtimes and early evening for the food we serve from a main menu and specials board. Meals can be eaten anywhere in the pub or out in the beer garden during the summer.
Premiership football and live sport is shown on the big Screen and plasma TV's so you don't miss the action.This is a brilliant open plan pub with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. You will soon understand what we are all about.
