The Tandem is the only pub in the village of Kennington located in the centre on the main road. We offer our valued customers a Hungry Horse welcome with quality food and drink to be enjoyed in olde worlde surroundings. Kennington is a large working village only 1.5 miles from the centre of Oxford and 2 miles from Abingdon. This make us easily accessible by many people who make us their food pub and place to meet friends and family. The Tandem is very family orientated with food available for all ages and facilities for any age group. Our delicious Hungry Horse food can be tried any day of the week in the pub's open plan room. We also have a lounge area and sports bar to attract customers who just want to relax in comfort with a pint and play games such as pool and darts. The pubs large beer garden is very popular in the summer and we have a great new decked area. Come and see us soon - we are very keen to welcome you!
So many tastes so little time! Our great value family food and drinks, from steaks to salad and the Super Horse kids menu; there’s something for everyone! Alongside the extensive main menu kids can build their own meal at Hungry Horse with our fun Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix menu. If you need a little more on your plate try the larger meals.
